It is truly important to begin the loan process before you even begin to shop for a home - which will ensure that your loan goes as smoothly as possible. Here is a snapshot of the ideal loan process...
- Call me to schedule a Pre-Qualification meeting.
- Organize and bring copies of your documents – they are listed here.
- I'll Pre-Qualify you - meaning I'll confirm the types of loans you are qualified to obtain, based on current underwriting guidelines.
- We'll discuss loan programs that best fit your needs and I'll help you decide upon a financing strategy that is right for your situation .
- You will shop for you home with your realtor.
- When you find a home you are interested in, I will calculate your monthly payment, based on the financing strategy you've decided upon in our pre-qualification meeting.
- I will provide a pre-qualification letter specific to the property on which you make an offer, which your realtor will provide to the sellers with your offer to purchase.
- When your offer is accepted, you apply for your loan:
- Sign the Loan Documents and Disclosures
- Provide the needed documentation
- Authorize and pay for the Appraisal
- During the underwriting process, you may need to provide additional documentation if required to obtain loan approval - we'll contact you as soon as the underwriter makes the request - please respond promptly to keep the process moving forward.
- I'll send you a copy of the appraisal when it is completed.
- My team and I will work with your underwriter, attorney, appraiser, insurance agent and realtor to obtain your Loan Approval.
- On closing day, you will meet with your attorney to sign the final loan documents, and the home is yours!
